Anyong-ah-cay-say-oh

July 19, 2011

I love George Bernard Shaw.  I’ll get to that statement in a bit.

Firstly, I would just like to say… I think, if there’s anything at all that I’ve learned this year, it’s this: no matter who you is or how much you travel, the number of people on this planet is flabbergasting, and it astounds me that one will only ever meet a fraction of those people.

I have grown this year:

I am able to take care of myself now.

I am able to be happy alone.

I have the capability to do anything I want.

Success is what I want it to be, as long as I’m happy.

I’m happy.

I believe in a higher power than myself. I’m not sure who or what it is, but it’s there, and it’s indescribable.

Above all, I am loved, and I love the world.

Thanks so much for reading and watching my adventure this year.  A new adventure awaits me, and I am honored, blessed, and thankful to have spent the first year of my “real adult life” at the Gyeonggi English Village in Paju, South Korea.

George Bernard Shaw is one of my favorite playwrights – his words are funny, and they ring true with humanity.  I never understood fully why I love him so much until I discovered this quote:

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

Anyong-ah-cay-say-oh, peace, and blessings.

I had to be shirtless in my final blog post SOMEhow. :)

This makes me miss the Netherlands.  So much.  And to think that I was in Seoul…

Camp Health animation.

As you can tell, I’ve bronchitis and am terribly bored in my room.

Korean antibiotics, you worked once before… work your magic again.

A nice little write-up in Groove about the Edutainer department at the Gyeonggi English Village… written by me?

Don’t mind the grammatical errors.  They were not my fault.
